I am a bit gobsmacked at the amount I have managed to get through on this wet and soggy day. A few hours tying up loose ends in the store, a pot full of heartwarming Cauliflower soup, the thoroughly delightful film featuring a fabulous Meryl Streep Julie & Julia and I finally devoured my very latest delivery of magazines which have been building up to a skyscraper on the sofa!

The latest edition of Inside Out magazine has truly got my Christmas preparation underway. Christmas to me is like a red rag to a bull. I never have found Christmas a particular stressful time of year. Super busy yes, but I just love all the ceremony, tradition and creativity that comes with preparing to entertain friends and family at this time of year. This months edition has blown me away! From home made sweet treats for stocking fillers, impressive gift wrapping techniques (we'll be sure to try a few of these out in the store!) and table decorations. I particularly loved the beautiful display of crimson Ranunculus by Grandiflora in Sydney that adorned the front page. I've decided these sweet little posey bottles are a must for my table decorations this year at Christmas Lunch. Happy reading!
