In classic Billy Ocean style 'when the going gets tough, the tough get going!' Refreshing to think especially in light of the morning I've had. Locals, strong community activists and members of Public Green, Bronwyn Buksh and Sharyn Kerrigan have launched a refreshing initiative called 'The One Green Bag Walk'. Using 1 x Green shopping bag and a ball of string the ladies have tagged a pedestrian route throughout our community, linking business areas, green spaces and the like. Aimed at illustrating to the Coolum community and their visitors the pathways that connect our community they also seek to promote a complete visualisation the Coolum Urban Design Masterplan rather than the 'roadscaping' presented by our council members recently.
