I'm a firm believer that collectable art should be acquired over a time where each piece is significant and has meaning. It shouldn't just be purchased to fill a space unless the owner has an affinity with the piece and an absolute desire to own it. In saying that this can make decorating a room a tad bit difficult with the requirement to add dimensionality to a space is essential. Throughout my interior work I rely on a stock pile of print images, textiles and customised pieces, always searching for new graphic artists and designers to add to the repertoire. Last week I happened across a great website called I Need Nice Things http://www.ineednicethings.com/

Designed to make artwork affordable and accessible this site is an online bevvy of print treasures in a myriad of styles from pop art to abstract to typography and the list goes on. Always adding new prints you can select your size on a number of stock finishes and have your piece shipped to you promptly to add colour and pizazz to your walls! I have a feeling that Flamingoes coming home with me!!!
