A recent break in Melbourne has got me thinking about what makes this city so special. Sure it's vibrant, cultural, super savvy and jam packed with delicious places to indulge your taste buds but so are a lot of other cities. There's a certain je ne sais quoi about the streets, a mixture of casual and cool, along with individuality brimming at the seams! It's so layered and a melting pot of nationalities, style and energies. Everywhere you turn there is something new and exciting to get involved in whether it's a street festival, bars with overwhelming lists of boutique ales and vino's to test to your hearts content, roof top bars showing cinema classics in the centre of town as the sun (very slowly) descends over the city, all night treasure trove book store with a plethora of unique titles to delight in, classic old school italian cafes like something straight from the set of the Soprano's or the latest gastro pubs with all vying for the quirkiest, most trendy of fitouts. I thought I'd share a few of my favourite little finds on this latest trip.
Enjoy xx
